The Howling Void returns with his sixth full length album. The fusion of funeral doom, folk, and black metal that began on the "Runa" EP and continued on "The Triumph of Ruin" here reaches its zenith. "The Darkness at the Edge of Dawn" features five tracks of dark, gloomy, hypnotic, mesmerizing doom, all with haunting clean vocals.
